New very special book in my shop!
This very special zine was created by Ines Estrada and Ginette Lapalme. This run of zines, of which there are only 30, were printed here in Toronto with the use of a Risograph printer and a hoard of different coloured papers.
Each zine is incredibly unique! There are 8 collaborative animal themed drawings printed within, as well as many scraps of beautiful patterned and handmade papers added. Each booklet is lovingly decorated by Ginette or Ines (this one by me). It’s filled with many stickers, unique doodles, stamps and glitter. ♥There will be fifteen of these decorated by me, and Ines will be releasing the other fifteen. ♥.♥

this is what i’ve come up with as my end of the year portfolio for my critique class. it’s been good to think towards one project for a whole year because my ideas have been changing around a lot and i’ve learnt a lot and thought of many new ideas as a result of it all. this isn’t exactly finished in my mind… and what i made might be best represented as an installation, but for this point in time, these pictures will have to do as a representation and they mark what work i’ve done well enough. i’m excited about the concepts that have been in my mind during the making of this work and throughout the year and i think this is a good beginning to something i want to keep thinking about and working on. it’ll be good to have a break from this project as well and be able to think about all of the ideas that have come up that i’ve discarded or put on hold… i’m excited. maybe i’ll add some writing of what the work itself is about some other time.
